Our new shortfilm is out!



Here are snapshots from what turned out to be the most fulfilling project we have ever made. Everyone pulled their weight, and we could not have asked for a better team. Salla Nyholm (@sallanyholm), Ida R. and Marissa Kolster (@missakolster) were our lead actresses, who modeled for these photos as well, with the awesome Iiro Rautiainen(@iirora) as the photographer.

The film's location was Villa Solgård in Inkoo, Finland (www.villasolgard.com). A lovely organic farm with sheep, geese, chickens, horses and other animals (and the most delicious strawberries). The perfect location for our vision.

The costumes were provided by Artistiasu (@artistiasu), a costume rental place located in Savio, Finland. They are truly amazing.

Makeup and hair was done by Blue, and the set design, script and directing was by Red. Production was a breeze, thanks to our assistants Suvi Tynkkynen (@suviie) and Karoliina Heikkinen (who provided us with delicious food as well).

Daughters of the Forest

It was quiet in the council of the Forest King. The King sat on his mighty throne and looked upon his green land, the high trees, the rays of sun coming through the leaves and dotting the forest floor. For the first time in a millenia he felt at ease with his kingdom, but he had no one to share this serenity with. The Forest King searched for advice in the animals, and found a pattern. Everything has continuity, someone or something to continue their existence after they’re gone.  The Forest King smiled with a thought. He reached down and took a handful of moss, dirt and roots in his large but gentle hand.   He started molding, fashioning, detailing, until the he had formed a figure of a human of the soil. He set the figure down on a mossy rock in the shadow of an old pine tree. He cast a spell so powerful, that the whole forest held its breath. ’’From the soil and roots you will be born. Your ears will hear the smallest rustle, even the steps of ants. ...

Queen Of Everything

Yes it is me, you look at me in awe. You should, because yes, it is me.   There’s nothing I don’t have, and what I don’t have, I don’t need. I would ask you to bow down, but you already are so much lower than me. Poor, poor you, down there. The world is my castle, that I own in my special way. There’s nothing I can’t have. I want more, there’s never enough. This isn’t good enough. More, I say! Give it to me, I need it! ...Wait... No It's too much Make it stop! Promises forgotten, they drowned  in each other. They betrayed everything, and sunk deeper without bother. However fate could not allow this to commence, for he belonged to someone else.
